With advanced European technology, our PLA tableware is durable and heat resistant. Unlike other natural materials, such as wood or ceramics, our products resist damage with proper care.
To achieve complete crack safety we would need to mix our PLA with potentially harmful plastics such as melamine, we prioritize the health and safety of children and the planet and consider this the most important thing. We hope you agree! Our PLA tableware is 100% plant-based - made from root vegetables!
What do our products consist of?
Plant-based PLA
PLA (polylactic acid) is a plant-based plastic alternative that is very durable yet environmentally friendly. The PLA used to create Miniware's products comes from the root vegetable cassava, a low-impact and renewable resource. No chemicals are used in the manufacture of our PLA, making them 100% plant-based, food safe and non-toxic even when they break down after use.
Food approved silicone
Our products use the highest quality food-grade silicone, carefully selected for its soft and pliable nature. By prioritizing this high-quality material, we not only ensure maximum safety, but also offer products that are exceptionally durable, designed for long-term use.
Sustainability for us
We work for sustainability in several ways
When we design our products, we think about the entire product journey, from start to finish. Partly by designing products that can be used during several growth phases with interchangeable accessories, and partly by using the "cradle-to-cradle" approach, we ensure that the products do not harm the environment after they have been used.
We are proud that our method avoids secondary contamination. Our goal? To create products that respect our world at every step.
