Teach your baby to eat by himself with a spoon - collaboration with @busigtgott

Lär din bebis äta själv med sked - samarbete med @busigtgott

(In collaboration with @busigtgott )

Do you want your baby to learn to feed himself with a spoon? Here is a step-by-step guide on how to proceed:

The image shows Miniware's Sensory Baby Bowl.

1. Get good and non-toxic equipment 🛒
Use a spoon and a bowl with a suction cup to help the baby eat by himself. I recommend Miniware, where the spoon can be changed to two different sizes as well as their Sensory Bowl with lid 🌱 The lid makes the food and the experience extra exciting and helps keep the food fresh. 🍲

2. Get used to the spoon 🥄
Let your baby explore, play and get used to the spoon on his own from the age of four months. The babysitter is a perfect place to practice...

3. Prepare for drafts 🧽
Kladd is part of the learning process and supports children's independent eating. Be patient and invest in a good bib and splash guard.

4. Fill the spoon and hold in front of baby 🥄
For babies 6 months and up, load the spoon with food and stand behind the highchair. Hold the filled spoon in front of your baby and let your baby bring it to his mouth by himself (avoid spoon feeding).

5. Get baby to imitate 🤩
For babies between 7-8 months, eat together and show how to use the spoon and eat from your baby's bowl. Try to get baby to imitate and do the same.
